چکیده

This paper aimed at the detection of wormhole attack and proposed a new method called as Neighbour Node Ratio Adhoc On demand Distance Vector Routing (NNR-AODV). NNR-AODV is an extended version traditional AODV routing protocol. The calculates neighbour node count for every based on that it will decide whether present or not. Furthermore, able to detect both external internal attacked nodes. Also, derived Neighbor Threshold value which cumulative distances between nodes in attack. For experimental validation, we have accomplished extensive simulation performance measured through Number bogus links, Detection rate, False positive Rate, Packet delivery ratio loss ratio. obtained results shown superior attacks than existing methods.

An enhanced AODV routing protocol for MANETs

In this paper, a new routing protocol for Mobile Ad-Hoc networks (MANETs) is presented; the proposed power-hop based Ad-hoc on demand Distance Vector (AODV) is named PH-AODV, it uses the node power and the hop count parameters to select the best routing path. This paper compares the performance of the proposed PH-AODV in terms of average delay, average dropped packets and average throughput. Re...

BlackHole Attack and Detection Method for AODV Routing Protocol in MANETs

Causing packet loss due to attacks by malicious nodes is one of the most important problem in MANETs. There are many ways by which packet loss can occur in MANETs such as broken links, transmission errors, no route to the destination and attacks caused by malicious nodes. To determine the exact cause of packet loss in wireless network is a challenging task. In this paper, we have investigated p...

Review on security issues of AODV routing protocol for MANETs

Ad hoc networks are a new wireless networking paradigm for mobile hosts. Unlike traditional mobile wireless networks, ad hoc networks do not rely on any fixed infrastructure, Instead, hosts rely on each other to keep the network connected. One main challenge in the design of these networks is their vulnerability to security attacks. In this Survey, we study the threats an ad hoc network faces a...

HP-AODV: An Enhanced AODV Routing Protocol for High Mobility MANETs

MANETs (Mobile Ad Hoc Networks) are wireless networks with characteristics such as self organizing or autonomous, multi-hop and resource constrained. These resource constraints includes limited power, bandwidth etc. which in turn increases the difficulty in MANETs routing. The problem space includes route break, control overhead, limited energy etc. Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) is th...

New Performance Analysis of Angle Routing AODV Protocol in MANETs

The ultimate goal of the MANET community is to provide a set of standardized protocols that can be both robust and scalable. This paper proposes routing protocol based on the best heading direction angle route. The protocol is designed to calculate the average of all heading direction angles in the route and find the best route from the source to the destination. We measure the performance of t...
